Summit High School Athletic Hall of Fame

About Us

The Summit High School Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2013 to maintain a lasting tribute to sports figures who have dominated their sport and brought fame to the City of Summit.

The Athletic Hall of Fame shall be managed by a Board of Trustees consisting of a maximum of eighteen and a minimum of twelve persons, two-thirds of whom will be residents of Summit. The Athletic Director and the Summit High School Principal shall serve during their tenure in the job. The “other” Trustees shall serve for a term of three years with one-third elected each year. Trustees may be named to additional terms.

This Hall of Fame Committee is responsible for accepting nomination forms, researching prospective inductees and making the final selections for new inductee classes.  They are also responsible for planning the Induction Ceremony, which will honor the inductees.
